Industry:
Consumer electronics

Stores:

Introduction:

Harense Smid was established in 1827 in the village of Haren (near Oss) in the province of Brabant, the Netherlands. As the village blacksmith’s business grew bigger and bigger, his range of products increased to include gas stoves, gas cookers and bicycles; in short, ‘everything the customer asked for!’. Over time, the product range expanded further and the company also started to sell washing machines and household appliances, with televisions and audio devices following later. Today, seven generations on, the consumer electronics chain is still going strong.

Motivation:
Harense Smid is upgrading its store formula to meet the latest trends. Product presentation will be modified so that all electronic devices such as navigation systems, digital cameras and camcorders can be demonstrated live.

Goal:
The best possible method of presenting products more attractively so that customers will be able to test and try them.

Solution:
A unique product presentation with a coloured LED ring and an easily convertible product card. The displays with the company logo contain optimally secured products that can be tested by the customer.
